Kristijan Kofiloski — iOS engineer and open-source tooling author

About

👋 Hello there, my name is Kristijan Kofiloski. I am an iOS engineer with a strong passion for technology, software, and sports.

I build open-source tooling for iOS release quality, including App Store review-risk checks, XCUITest accessibility-contract diagnostics, and evidence-rich Simulator checks for pull requests. See the iOS Release Quality Toolkit for source code, installation options, and concrete use cases.

I started writing code during high school. I hold a Bachelor of Science in the field of Implementation of e-Technologies. During university, I worked on embedded systems, web development with HTML and CSS, and native mobile apps for iOS and Android using Swift and Java.

My professional career consists of designing, developing, and maintaining mobile apps, as well as delivering new features for clients, primarily on iOS and mainly in Swift. I also have experience building software from idea to deployment, including mobile apps, IoT solutions, and web services with Node.js deployed on Google Cloud Platform (Firebase).

I have worked on products at scale, including apps with millions of sessions per day, approximately 99% uptime targets, and release cadences of once every three weeks, while collaborating across teams of dozens of people.

I am a proud founder and organizer of iOSKonf, the premier iOS conference in the Balkans.

I also volunteer, host, and organize the local Apple platform development community cocoaheads.mk.
